Hello,

this is such an interesting forum that I would like to start in this section.
Of course I'm neither a habakishi nor a professional metalworker - I have only tried to make habaki for an old wakizashi and two of my DIYS tanto (from simple CK75).

This should be an incitement for professionals to comment my pieces, show authentic work and give some hints.

(...I have a few old (unpolished & rusty) wakizashi blades which need habaki and therefore I want to do it the best way I can...)

Thanks & regard
Andi B.

...okay - I know these Habaki are not original ones but that should not be the reason to ignore this section for exact two years now...
;)
