Dear All

Is there a name for this style of wrap show in my images?

It is two strands of ito about 4 mm wide working together.

Where at the crossover the inside strands are hineri-maki and
The outside strands are twisted/rolled and then cross over.

When and where was this style of tsuka-maki used?

Thanks
David McDonald

This MAKI-Name is KUMIAGE-MAKI.
1 unit is two TSUNEKUMI-ITO.
Widht is 4mm (1 unit).
2 unit width is 8mm (5 BU-ITO).
Uwa-ito doesn't twist it.
It is a lot of MAKI used for WAKIZASHI.
