I have collected western blades for some years and was recently given a wakizashi, It appears to be in good shape and you can see a temper line on it. It is a signed blade and I would like to know who made it and during what period. It's overall length is 26 3/4 inches. Thank you for any help you may be able to give me

I have some additional information to add, based on research and some help from others. The inscription seems to say Noshu Seki ju Kane (辻) saku The one kanji is confusing.
Thanks Howard
