Hi Everyone!
My name is Stanly Paul, my hobby is Koshirae craft, tsukamaki and laquer work. For 16 years I am engaged in the restoration of the Japanese swords Koshirae
For 16 years I'm trying to learn the art of the Japanese sword, and understand the process of Koshirae craft and restoration of the Japanese swords. Unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to learn from the Japanese craftsman and all the knowledge I had to gather the crumbs from a variety of sources. My favorite book was The Craft of the Japanese Sword, and in absentia I think their teachers all those who took part in the creation of this book! Later, I became acquainted with the works of Kazuyuki Takayama in his book NIHONTO NO KOSHIRAE. Now this book is for me a Course book. I would like to say a special word of thanks for Paul Martin for the opportunity to participate in the forum and Iiyama Kensen for the very informative answers to many of the topics!
DOMO ARIGATO GOZAIMASHITA!
