Just recently picked up this blade in WWII officers mountings. Signed Kanemoto. It looks like it has a lot of age and would love to try to figure out what generation Kanemoto this is.the blade measures overall 35.5 with a 27.75" cutting edge. Have a new camera so i was able to take some nice photos. fairly large pics so i just added a link to my photos to make it easier since the photos that can be uploaded here are too small for any really good detail.
I appreciate any help
Darren

Well, the blade looks to be suriage of a Shinto period Kanemoto. Nijimei makes it harder to determine there were so many. Still and all Mino school obviously. John

I think it's a little earlier than Shinto period. Looks more late Koto period to me. No doubt that's it a Mino blade But without being able to Kantei the blade it will be difficult to say which Kanemoto it is.
